- What are your hobbies and interests outside of work? Basketball, playing guitar, roadtrips and long walks in new places.
- What motivates and drives you in life? Connecting people, offering perspective, empathy and shinning a light on the things I believe deserve to be seen.
- What are some experiences from your childhood that have shaped who you are today? Growing up in a single mother's household surrounded by hard working women.
- How has your upbringing influenced your perspective on life and your values? I think growing up in Venezuela offered me a unique perspective on political and social views and has allowed to see the world in from a unique lens.
- Who are some people you look up to and why, and how did they shape your upbringing? My great grandmother, my parents, my sister, my friends. I was always naturally drawn to personalities like my great grandmother's, she attracted love and compassion because that's who she was, then I learned to understand, love and admire my family and fortunately I have always surrounded myself with friends that I respect, admire and learn from.
- What are some of your core values and beliefs that you developed in your childhood? Kindness, acceptance, be of service to those you love, forgiveness, honesty and compassion.
- What do you hope to achieve in your lifetime? This answer keeps changing as I grow older and reconsider my purpose in this world. Lately I've felt that every day being alive is a blessing and it might be my last, so I won't worry too much about who I want to be, I rather just BE and I hope by just doing that I can inspire other to live a more connected and present life that helps others and the world.
- What are some causes or issues that you're passionate about, and how did you develop these passions? I've learned that when it comes to what causes or issues to commit your heart and your mind to, you must choose, there are too many to cover them all. I believe more than an issue, my focus is on compassion. Helping people get along and care about the pressing issues that hurt our communities and our planet and work towards healing them, instead of focusing in what makes us different.
- How do you define success, both personally and professionally? I am successful, I am rich, I am blessed. My definition of success is being able to live in this planet as comfortably as I do, with shoes, cloathes, shelter, hobbies, things, passions, friends, family, opportunities, places to explore, lessons to learn... Just to be able to experience this with harmony and hope is what makes me feel successful, personally. Professionally, even though there's so much more I want to achieve, when I look back, I'm happy and satisfied of who I've become, what I have achieved and the potential I have to create more. I feel blessed so I live blessed.
