“My Dad and I” is much more than a show or a documentary. It’s my personal journey of reconnecting with my father and our opportunity to create a new relationship with open communication so we can learn more about each other and ourselves.

For us, this is bigger than just reconnecting, we want to speak for so many others who have unresolved business with their parents, for all those fathers who wish to reconnect with their sons and daughters and through our story inspire them to do so. 

The Purpose Project highlights different communities that come together to overcome difficult times. In Episode two "From the Ashes" host Alejandro Toro joins actress Zoey Deschanel to highlight a community in Northern California that came together after the wildfires.
